Short version: no accounts, your game progress never leaves your browser, and we use Google Analytics to count visits.
What stays on your device
The games remember a few things so you can pick up where you left off: endings and badges you've found, the name you gave yourself, a tutorial you've finished. These are kept in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them.
Visitor counts
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which games they play. It records things like the pages you view, the country or city you're in, your device and browser, and how you found the site. In most countries it sets cookies so it can tell new visitors from returning ones. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland it runs without analytics cookies. We don't use it to identify you or to show you ads.

Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also counts visits without cookies and keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Links to Amazon
Some games link to books on Amazon. If you click one, Amazon may set cookies so that we earn a small commission on qualifying purchases. What happens on Amazon is covered by Amazon's privacy notice. See also our affiliate disclosure.
Share links
Some results can be shared as a link. The link contains your result and, if you typed one, the name you chose. Only the people you send it to will see it.
Advertising
There are no ads on the site at present. If we add them, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Children
The site is meant for a general audience and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
